Garfield Haratio (age 46) is a cat that won the Fatass Awards three times and was injured in The Great Furry Massacre of Indianapolis. He currently resides in Muncie, Indiania and has made multiple appeareances in media, such as video games, movies and shows.
Childhood[]
Birth[]
On June 19th, 1978, Garfield Haratio was born in an alleyway in east Muncie, Indiana. He was raised by his father, Vic Haratio, until he was 6.
"I'll be right back" Incident[]
When he was 6 in 1984, his father told him he was getting food, but Garfield didn't wait and saw a slice of pizza, crossed the street and met his current owner, Jon Arbuckle. His father suffered from depression after it until 1986.
Gaining weight and Fatass Awards[]
Garfield after the incident gained weight fast, and had little to no exercise. He was declared obese in 1995, which made in compete in the Fatass Awards from 1996 to 2020.

Becoming a celebrity[]
After he turned 18, he decided to make comic strips of him, which made him viral and did a tour in 1998, when the The Great Furry Massacre of Indianapolis and in 2001, right directly next to Ground Zero, which was controversial even though he was not purposely making fun of 9/11.
Injury in Furry Massacre[]
Garfield's life almost was ended by a 14 year old when he was doing a concert when the 14 year old thought he was a furry, and started shooting with a paintball. The paintball actually was metal balls and one hit his kneecap, causing him to get a patellar fracture and one going down his throat causing internal bleeding and him to almost choke to death. He was rushed to the hospital and security shot the 14 year old with a tranquilizer and sent him to the police.
2001 Tour[]
Garfield was supposed to do a tour on 9/11 next to the WTC but was obviously canceled and moved to November 2001. Due to that, all funds went towards the families of victims.
Comic Predicting 9/11?[]
On September 10th, 2001, A Garfield comic strip showed 3 boxes with Jon getting 2 calls about Garfield doing something, the comic strip ends with Garfield saying "I've been a busy boy", saying that Garfield could have done 9/11. Garfield the day after 9/11 said that it was a coincendence. This could have been on purpose but is unknown.
1st Assination Attempt[]
Garfield was attempted to be assinated in August 2003 by the terrorist group Lankybox. The bullet barely dodged his head and was sadly not caught until January 2022. Because of this, Garfield never did a tour until 2011.

In 2006, someone named Barfield claimed that he was Garfield's long lost brother. After DNA testing, it had been confirmed. Garfield and Barfield would regularly go on concerts after.
